My name is Arndis Anna Kristinardottir Gunnarsdottir, and I am an Icelandic lawyer, specialized in human rights and migration. Since 2014 I have been working with the Icelandic Red Cross, giving legal assistance and representation to applicants for international protection in Iceland. I am officially a Pirate since 2017, although I have just recently become active, following my return to Iceland after a few years studying in France. I have been active in politics from a young age, at the national level, in student movements as well as within the Icelandic Ethical Humanist Association. I currently hold the position of secretary of the policy board of PĂratar, the Icelandic Pirates. As a person I am resourceful and organized. I am always professional in my work and have excellent technological awareness. I have years of experience of working with people of different backgrounds, nationalities, ethnicities, and religion, with different education and views, and various personal characteristics. People with whom I have worked, in any field or level, will confirm my problem-solving skills in social interaction and communication, as well as other interpersonal qualities. As a team leader I am motivating, attentive and solution oriented. I am an open person, so my background, general characteristics and reputation can be easily confirmed by a simple Google search, as I have been active online from a very young age.
