Here you will find the first information for the European Pirates Conference in Paris on the 9th-10th February 2013.
Please note that this Conference will be focused on discussing the European Pirate Party statutes.
Please check this page occasionally for updated information.
The third PPEU conference aims at continuing the efforts to create a joint political party at European level. This is not the Founding Conference.
To register for the Conference, just fill and send the registration form.
Please note that due to space limitations, and to ensure representation from all pirate parties, preference will be given to official delegates.
Registration is open until 4th February 2013 (later registration cannot be guaranteed).
Questions regarding Conference organisation can be sent to:
international-contact(at)lists.partipirate.org
Since we find it very important that all parties are represented regardless of their available funds, we have organised the possibility that individual pirates sponsor delegates that don't have the means to pay for the trip.
Please, just indicate in the registration form that you request sponsoring or that you are willing to sponsor another pirate, as well as the particular amount, and we will mutually provide the sponsor and the sponsored pirate their contact email so they can agree and make any necessary arrangements.
The Agenda will be published soon.

The closest airports are Paris Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle (CDG) and Paris Orly (ORY). The airport of Beauvais is also used to get to Paris.
Regional trains (RER) run every 10 minutes to/from “Aéroport de Roissy” station inside the Airport, taking around 50 minutes to get to the centre of Paris (9.25€ ticket).
It is also possible to take the bus to get to Paris. The dedicated Roissybus gets you to Paris Charles-de-Gaulle Étoile station in 60 minutes (10€), but we advise you to take the the bus line 351 that will take you to Nation station, near the venue place (5.70€).
All the different solutions are listed on the following page : Paris-CDG access by public transport. Note that the prices are not listed on this page, but you can find them by comparing them with the French page : Paris-CDG en transports en commun.
There is not direct RER line like for Roissy that would link the Orly airport to Paris.
You can take a 8 minutes Orlyval bus to get to the Antony RER station (8.40€) and then a 25 minutes RER travel to Paris (3.95€).
It is also possible to get to Paris Denfert Rochereau station by official bus Orlybus in 20 to 30 minutes (7€).
Another cheaper option is the 50 minutes “bus 183” to Paris Porte de Choisy (1,90€).
All the different solutions are listed on the following page : Paris-Orly access by public transport. Note that the prices are not listed on this page, but you can find them by comparing them with the French page : Paris-Orly en transports en commun.
There is a bus leaving the Beauvais airport 20 minutes after each flight and taking you to Paris Porte Maillot station in 1h15 for 15€ per person.
Details are here : Shuttle Paris Porte Maillot <-> Beauvais Airport
All the main train stations are located inside Paris and linked to multiple metro and RER lines. Metro, tram, bus and RER travel inside Paris can all be paid by the same ticket (see below).
Inside Paris you may choose to either pay each travel by one ticket, or buy a ticket that will give you unlimited travels for one day. (Note that any subway station is considered in zone 1, even if you go a bit outside Paris, but prices are higher for RER, bus and tram).
Prices are as follow :
Individual tickets : 1.70€ each.
Ten individual tickets : 12.70€.
Unlimited 1 day ticket : 6.40€.
There will be some couch surfing opportunities available on request.
